1. INTRODUCTION
At GALAXYWAY AI LTD, we respect your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how Dual Camera Go ("the App") accesses, processes, stores and protects information when you use our mobile application.
We believe users should maintain control over their personal photographs and videos.
Dual Camera Go has therefore been designed around a local-device recording model.
Your recordings belong to you and remain on your device unless you choose to share them.
We do not provide cloud storage for your recordings.
We do not automatically upload your photographs or videos to Galaxyway AI servers.
We do not have routine access to your camera recordings.
This Privacy Policy also explains how we handle personal information if you contact our support team.
2. WHO WE ARE
Dual Camera Go is developed and operated by:
GALAXYWAY AI LTD
Company Number: 15966090
Registered in England & Wales.
Registered Office:
18 Holly Hill Road Belvedere Kent DA8 1QD United Kingdom
Email: [dualcamerago@galaxyway.ai](mailto:dualcamerago@galaxyway.ai)
Telephone: +44 7857 388088
For personal information that we receive through support correspondence or other direct communications, GALAXYWAY AI LTD acts as the data controller.
3. OUR PRIVACY COMMITMENT
Dual Camera Go is designed to give users control over their photographs, videos and recording activities.
Our core privacy principles are:
Local recording: Photographs and videos are processed and saved on the user's device.
No developer-hosted media library: We do not store user recordings on Galaxyway AI cloud servers.
No mandatory registration: Users can access the core recording functionality without creating an account.
No automatic media uploads: Recordings are not automatically uploaded to us.
User-controlled sharing: Users decide whether and where to share their recordings.
Permission-based access: Camera and microphone features operate through applicable device permissions.
Data minimisation: We aim to limit access to information to what is necessary for the App's functionality.
4. INFORMATION PROCESSED BY THE APP
To provide camera functionality, Dual Camera Go may process information locally on your device.
This may include:
4.1 Camera images
The App accesses camera input when you activate supported recording or photography features.
Camera data is processed locally to produce photographs, video recordings and live previews.
4.2 Video recordings
Videos recorded using Dual Camera Go are saved locally to your device.
We do not automatically transfer these recordings to Galaxyway AI.
4.3 Audio recordings
If you enable audio recording and grant microphone permission, the App may capture audio alongside your videos.
Audio is processed locally as part of the recording process.
We do not automatically receive or store this audio.
4.4 Photographs
Photographs captured using the App are stored on your device.
We do not automatically receive copies of these photographs.
4.5 Camera effects and layouts
The App may process selected camera frames, layout preferences, shapes, filters and other creative settings locally.
These settings are intended to support your recording experience.
4.6 Local application settings
The App may store technical preferences on the device, such as camera layout choices and recording settings.
Such settings are not intended to identify users and are not transmitted to Galaxyway AI.
5. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT THROUGH RECORDING
The App's local recording functionality is designed so that Galaxyway AI does not collect:
- Copies of your recorded videos.
- Copies of your photographs.
- Your recorded audio.
- Your camera's live video feed.
- A history of what you have recorded.
- The identities of people appearing in your recordings.
- The content of your locally saved media library.
We do not operate a remote media-processing service for the App.
We do not use recordings for facial recognition, behavioural profiling or training artificial intelligence models.
We do not sell users' recordings or provide them to advertisers.
These statements concern the App's recording functionality. They do not prevent us from processing information you deliberately send to our support team.
6. CAMERA PERMISSION
Dual Camera Go requires camera permission to capture photographs and videos.
Depending on device compatibility, the App may access both front-facing and rear-facing cameras.
Camera access is used for:
- Displaying camera previews.
- Capturing photographs.
- Recording videos.
- Creating dual-camera compositions.
- Applying visual effects.
Camera input is processed locally.
We do not remotely activate your camera or access its live feed.
Users can revoke camera permission through their device settings.
If camera permission is disabled, camera-dependent features may no longer function.
7. MICROPHONE PERMISSION
Dual Camera Go may request microphone permission when audio recording is enabled.
The microphone is used to capture sound for video recordings.
Audio is processed locally on the user's device.
We do not automatically upload microphone recordings to our servers.
Users can disable microphone access through their device settings.
Disabling microphone permission may prevent audio recording while leaving other supported features available.
8. PHOTO LIBRARY AND DEVICE STORAGE
Dual Camera Go requires appropriate access to local device storage or media-saving functions to save recordings.
Depending on your device and operating system, the App may request permission to access or save media.
This functionality allows users to:
- Save photographs.
- Save videos.
- Access compatible media where necessary for an enabled feature.
- Share recordings through device-supported applications.
We do not use media permissions to upload your personal media library to Galaxyway AI.
Media remains under your control.
The precise permission options available may vary between Android and iOS.
9. WHERE YOUR RECORDINGS ARE STORED
Photographs and videos created using Dual Camera Go are saved locally to your device.
They may appear in your device's:
- Photo gallery.
- Camera roll.
- Media library.
- File storage.
The exact storage location depends on your operating system and the App's implementation.
Galaxyway AI does not maintain copies of these recordings.
Important: Some devices automatically back up photographs and videos to services such as iCloud Photos or Google Photos when the user enables those services.
Such backups are controlled by the device owner and the relevant service provider.
They are not uploads to Galaxyway AI.
Users should review their device's backup and synchronisation settings if they do not want recordings stored in third-party cloud services.
10. SHARING PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEOS
Dual Camera Go may allow you to share recordings through your device's normal sharing functionality.
For example, you may choose to send recordings to:
- Social media applications.
- Messaging services.
- Email applications.
- Cloud-storage providers.
- Other compatible applications.
Sharing takes place at your direction.
When you share content with another service, that provider may collect, process and store the content according to its own privacy policy.
Galaxyway AI does not control how independent third parties handle information you choose to share.
We encourage users to review the privacy policies of third-party services before sharing sensitive media.
11. ACCOUNTS AND REGISTRATION
Dual Camera Go does not require users to create a Galaxyway AI account for its core recording functionality.
We do not require users to submit their names, email addresses or telephone numbers to capture photographs or videos.
The App is not designed to maintain personal user profiles.
Users can access supported recording features without providing registration details to Galaxyway AI.
Separate accounts maintained by Google, Apple or other service providers are governed by those providers' terms.
12. ANALYTICS, TRACKING AND ADVERTISING
Dual Camera Go's intended privacy-first design does not include advertising trackers, behavioural profiling or third-party analytics software that transmits user information away from the device.
We do not use locally recorded media for targeted advertising.
We do not sell personal information obtained through the App.
Google Play, Apple and device manufacturers may independently collect information associated with app downloads, purchases, device diagnostics or platform operation.
Such processing is governed by their applicable policies.
Galaxyway AI may receive aggregated reports from app marketplaces, such as general download or distribution statistics.
These reports do not give us access to users' privately recorded photographs or videos.
If we introduce advertising, remote analytics or additional online services in the future, we will review and update this Privacy Policy and provide any disclosures or choices required by law.
13. INFORMATION YOU VOLUNTARILY PROVIDE
Although Dual Camera Go does not require registration, you may voluntarily contact us for assistance.
For example, you may email:
[dualcamerago@galaxyway.ai](mailto:dualcamerago@galaxyway.ai)
When you contact us, we may receive:
- Your name, if supplied.
- Your email address.
- Information contained in your message.
- Device information you choose to provide.
- Screenshots or files you voluntarily attach.
- Details of technical problems you report.
If you voluntarily send photographs or videos to our support team, we may access those specific files for the purpose of handling your enquiry.
We do not use support correspondence to build advertising profiles.
Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or private recordings unless genuinely necessary.
14. HOW WE USE SUPPORT INFORMATION
We may process information received through support communications to:
- Respond to enquiries.
- Investigate reported technical problems.
- Provide assistance.
- Improve application reliability.
- Maintain relevant support records.
- Comply with legal obligations.
- Protect our legal rights where necessary.
Depending on the circumstances, our lawful bases under applicable UK data protection legislation may include:
Legitimate interests: Responding to enquiries, maintaining support services and improving the App.
Contract: Handling communications necessary to provide or support a product or service.
Legal obligations: Retaining or providing information where legally required.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, those interests include operating an effective support service and resolving product-related issues, balanced against the rights and interests of the individuals concerned.
We do not require consent for processing where another appropriate lawful basis applies.
15. RETENTION OF SUPPORT INFORMATION
We retain support correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received.
Retention depends on factors including:
- Whether the enquiry remains unresolved.
- Whether follow-up support is required.
- Whether the information is needed to investigate a technical issue.
- Applicable legal obligations.
- The need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Support information is periodically reviewed and deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required, subject to any applicable legal retention requirements.
Users may request deletion of eligible personal information held by us by contacting our support email.
16. RETENTION AND DELETION OF RECORDINGS
Galaxyway AI does not determine how long photographs or videos remain saved on the user's device.
Users control the retention and deletion of their recordings.
To delete a recording, users should use their device's normal photo-gallery or file-management functions.
Uninstalling Dual Camera Go may not delete media already saved to the device's shared photo library or storage.
Users should check those locations separately.
Because Galaxyway AI does not store copies of locally saved recordings, we cannot remotely delete or recover them.
If a user has shared recordings with a third-party service, deletion may also need to be requested from that provider.
17. DATA SECURITY
Dual Camera Go is designed to minimise the transfer of recording data away from the user's device.
Photographs and videos remain subject to the security controls provided by the device and operating system.
Users are encouraged to:
- Protect their devices with a password or biometric lock.
- Keep their operating systems updated.
- Install applications from trusted sources.
- Review device backup settings.
- Avoid sharing sensitive recordings unnecessarily.
- Protect access to their photo galleries.
No electronic system can be guaranteed to be entirely secure.
For personal information we receive through support communications, we aim to apply reasonable organisational and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information.
18. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Dual Camera Go is a general-purpose camera application.
The recommended age for independent use is 13 years and above.
The App is not specifically directed towards children under 13.
Parents and guardians should supervise younger users and determine whether use is appropriate.
The App's core functionality does not require users to:
- Create an account.
- Provide their name.
- Submit an email address.
- Upload photographs to Galaxyway AI.
- Upload videos to Galaxyway AI.
- Create an online profile.
We do not knowingly use children's locally recorded media for advertising, profiling or AI training.
We encourage parents and guardians to teach children about privacy, consent and safe sharing.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has submitted personal information directly to Galaxyway AI through support communications, they may contact us to request appropriate action.
We will handle requests in accordance with applicable data-protection laws.
19. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Your locally stored recordings are not transferred to Galaxyway AI servers.
However, information voluntarily sent to our support email may be processed by service providers involved in delivering email and technical support services.
Depending on the location and infrastructure of those providers, this may involve processing outside the United Kingdom.
Where international transfers of personal information occur and applicable law requires safeguards, we will use appropriate transfer mechanisms and protections.
Users may contact us for further information about relevant arrangements.
20. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
Dual Camera Go may be downloaded through platforms such as:
- Google Play.
- Apple App Store.
These platforms may collect information relating to application installation, purchases, diagnostics or device activity.
Their independent data practices are governed by their respective privacy policies.
Galaxyway AI does not control the information collected independently by those platforms.
Users should consult the relevant provider's privacy documentation for additional details.
21. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal information that Galaxyway AI holds about you.
These may include:
Right of access: Request information about personal data we hold.
Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
Right to erasure: Request deletion of eligible personal data.
Right to restrict processing: Request restrictions in certain circumstances.
Right to object: Object to certain processing activities, including processing based on legitimate interests where applicable.
Right to data portability: Request eligible information in a portable format where the legal conditions apply.
Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis for processing.
These rights are subject to applicable legal conditions and exceptions.
Important distinction
These rights apply to personal information processed by Galaxyway AI.
Because we do not possess users' locally stored recordings, we cannot provide copies of recordings from their devices or delete them remotely.
To exercise applicable rights concerning information we hold, please contact:
[dualcamerago@galaxyway.ai](mailto:dualcamerago@galaxyway.ai)
22. COMPLAINTS
If you have concerns about how Galaxyway AI handles personal information, please contact us first so that we can investigate.
You may also have the right to complain to a relevant data-protection supervisory authority.
In the United Kingdom, this is the:
Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
Website: https://ico.org.uk
Nothing in this policy restricts your right to contact the ICO or another competent supervisory authority.
23. AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING AND PROFILING
Dual Camera Go is not designed to create behavioural profiles of users.
We do not use recordings for automated identity recognition.
We do not use users' locally recorded media to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
We do not use users' recordings to train our artificial intelligence models.
24. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in:
- App functionality.
- Data processing practices.
- Applicable laws.
- Security measures.
- Third-party integrations.
- Operational requirements.
When changes materially affect the handling of personal information, we will provide appropriate notice and obtain consent where legally required.
